This is the country where material things are valued more than human lives.  A country where you can mistakenly be killed for stealing without any proof. There have been a thousand and one cases of people being killed all because of material things. People really take laws into their hands and execute justice in their own accepted way.
Perhaps, this is not the first time we are hearing of someone being killed because of a mobile phone, it happens and will continue to happen because laws in this country do not work properly.

A man has been arrested by police in Srodae in the Eastern Region of Ghana for stabbing a friend to death over a petty fight over a mobile phone.
The suspect, Emmanuel Kwame Kwakye allegedly stabbed the victim in his left thigh. Due to excessive bleeding, the victim died right after being rushed to the hospital.
It is reported that the two engaged in a fight over the missing mobile phone.
Chief Inspector Ebenezer Sakyi, the Koforidua station officer giving a vivid account of the incident, explained that the suspect, Kwakye who had gone to visit his mother at Srodae, a suburb in Koforidua furiously attacked the victim, Kwesi Anthony for allegedly stealing his mobile phone.
He continued that, Kwaakye pulled a knife in the cause of their fight and stabbed Kwesi Anthony in the left thigh. The victim upon sensing the repercussions of what he has done took to his heels but was fortunately gotten hold of by residents and handed him over to the police.
Chief Inspector Ebenezer Sakyi added that the suspect would soon be arranged before the court after thorough investigations by the police.
