Former member of VIP, Promzy, who claims he was kicked out of the group by the ‘grandpapa’, Reggie Rockstone, has threatened to ‘murder’ the veteran Ghanaian rapper.
Promzy recently posted a live video on social media in which he made several wild claims, including going back on his initial critique of Shatta and now claiming he’s ready to ‘die for him’.
In the video, Promzy also challenged Rockstone to a rap battle to prove who’s the better between the two of them, confidently declaring that he would murder the man who calls himself the founder of hiplife in Ghana.
“I am sending a message to Reggie Rockstone. Throw me a challenge. Me I am throwing you a challenge. Let’s start in Kumasi, from there to Cape Coast and the final one in Accra sports stadium…,” he agitatedly said.
“I am urging all these telcos to support Reggie battle me one on one, freestyle, let’s see who is who. Anyone that wanna know what is going on with me I am saying it in my freestyle. If you are real enough, come and battle me one on one on stage. If you keep quiet you are a pu$$y. I stood for you when you were nobody.” he raged.
Promzy, real name Emmanuel Ababio, was a founding member of the groundbreaking music group VIP. A few years ago, he left the group and was later replaced by Reggie Rockstone, morphing the group into VVIP.
Promzy has insisted since that Reggie pushed him out, but the veteran has always denied doing anything wrong.
