Paintings tell what even the heart cannot tell in such moments of grief, agony and pain. Ghanaians will definitely not forget the Asempa FM’s broadcast journalist, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong–Kaba whose sudden death occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 18 November 2017 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
One of the many Ghanaians who has felt the pain so much is this talented artist–Anthony Jefferson Hanson, he could not hold the pain anymore but to put it into beautiful paintings of Kaba to show the void left in his heart.
Mr Anthony Jefferson Hanson has presented to the Multimedia Group a representation of their beloved, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, KABA in beautiful paintings.
Anthony Jefferson Hanson stated that he did the painting in appreciation of the various occasions they’ve given him their platform to exhibit his talent to the world, so he saw it the need to gift the family such beautiful paintings to occupy the void created in their hearts.
Kaba was noted for his thought-provoking questions to politicians during his ‘Ekosii Sen’ political talk show on Asempa FM.
The beautiful painting was received on behalf of the Multimedia Group Limited by Mark Okraku Mantey, Programmes Director of Hitz FM and Dominic Kissi Yeboah, producer of the ‘Ekosi Sen’ show on Asempa FM.
KABA left behind a beautiful wife and a seven months old baby and will be laid to rest at the Osu Cemetry on Saturday, December 16, 2017. The funeral service will be at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
