Many ladies are moving towards s*x toys in Ghana, even though publicly it remains a kind of ‘taboo’ subject that people stay away from.
A new report from Joy News shows that not only are people patronizing the ‘foreign’ s*x toys such as vibrators, dildos and others – some are going more local.
A woodcarver known as Francis has revealed he carves s*x toys for a living. The toys are made from wood and enjoy tremendous patronage from women in Ghana.

Francis who carves sex toys said a woman from Belgium changed the nature of his wood carving business when she approached her to make a wooden p*nis.
Her electronic version had developed problems and she wanted a quick replacement, Francis told Joy News. After three days of studying how to make a wooden p*nis, his first client was satisfied.
Francis said ladies from Cape Coast in the Central region order the wooden boxes in dozens. He said ladies in the universities prefer his wooden toys to actual pen*s because having sex with men comes with the risk of sexually transmitted diseases.
He argues his wooden p*nis is better than the electronic penis because it requires no batteries.
