Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, aka Ghana’s dancehall terror Shatta Wale, has revealed that he was once a classmate of Ghana Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
Wale additionally bragged that he was a better student that Gyan during their school days.
The brash dancehall star hosted the 2017 edition of Sarkodie’s annual ‘Rapperholic’ concert and from all reports did a fine job of it.
Upon seeing Gyan, Wale reminisced about their school days together.
“You know Asamoah here was my classmate and I was far more brilliant than him,” he said.
Wale also claimed that he was a better player than Gyan back in school and said the two of them should exchange professions.
“Asamoah, I think we should exchange professions, come do music and let me play the ball,” he added.
