Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim has stated without mincing words that Ghanaian entertainers should brand themselves internationally in order for them to be given much recognition during international events.
She added that until they start thinking beyond the borders of Ghana, they will always be sidelined during international events.
Juliet Ibrahim said this in relation to the calls by Ghanaian artistes and entertainers to petition Parliament to enact a law that will see to it that international events hosted in Ghana will have Ghanaian artistes dominating the stage.
Juliet Ibrahim is of the view that majority of Ghanaian artistes and entertainers are contended with being in Ghana and do not think of going internationally and that has resulted in their outcry.

The beautiful actress in series of tweets on the need for branding by Ghanaian artistes stated, “When we brand ourselves locally,we will continue to stay recognised locally.Ghanaian artistes shld step out of their comfort zones & expand their horizons.Only a few has been able to do this & those few are d ones who’ll keep taking our country’s flag higher”.

“So, bottom line, there’s a time for everything.Maybe this is a wake up call for Ghanaian artistes/Entertainers and Ghana as a whole to wake up and start rebranding and appreciating their own.Let’s stop complaining and use our energy to do the right thing to be valued accordingly”.
