In furtherance of a pledge by CEO Nana Appiah Mensah to search for a way to help the local creative arts industry, Zylofon Media has announced the creation of an unprecedented new fund to help stakeholders in need of funds to execute projects.
The creation of the fund was announced at a press conference held today (Friday).
Speaking at the presser, head of communications Samuel Baah (Sammy Flex) said the fund would be available to anyone in the local entertainment industry who needs money for a project.
They would have to submit a proposal to Zylofon for it to be scrutinized by a five member board who would be set up solely to deal with the fund.
If approved, the person would receive a loan from the fund which would come with a time frame for repayment but no interest.
According to Sammy Flex, Zylofon Media would look for other sources of funding to augment the fund and ensure its sustainable as the years go by, including 10% of all of their funding going forward.
