Gospel musician, Nacee has stated that “Bue Kwan” by Kwabena Kwabena was not embraced by Ghanaians as a gospel song.
According to him, Ghanaians have the perception that gospel songs should only be produced by gospel artistes and not secular musicians.
Nacee further explained that R Kelly who has been involved in several scandals have gospel songs which are sung in Ghanaian churches without anyone questioning his status as a secular musician.

Nacee who was speaking on Hitz FM Daybreak Hit fumed that, “the same people who rejected Kwabena Kwabena’s gospel song accept R Kelly in our churches.”
“R Kelly has done many awkward things that Kwabena Kwabena hasn’t yet he sang the ‘Storm is Over, ‘You Saved Me’, songs that were remixed by T D Jakes…”
