The last time Shatta Wale took on a rapper it didn’t end up very well for him. Yaa Pono memorably nicknamed him ‘Gbee Naabu’ and it has stuck to this day.
Shatta recently inserted himself into EL’s business and it seems the ‘Koko’ hitmaker is not so happy about that.
EL complimented Wale during a recent interview, noting that those who hate him are basically shooting themselves in the foot.
And whilst Wale compliment EL also when he responded to his comments, he then decided to obnoxiously give him some ‘advice’ on what kind of music he should do.
“I expect rapper EL to learn from… [my example] and deliver songs that the people want and not songs that will have to impress friends or international counterparts.” Wale said.
Obviously EL did not appreciate being told how to make music by a guy who abandoned hiplife for dancehall and hit back on twitter.
He fired off a series of tweets responding to Shatta.
