The big news in Ghana at the end of last week was that arguably the biggest and most popular artist in the country, ‘dancehall king’ Shatta Wale, was set to join Zylofon Media.
CEO Nana Appiah Mensah was said to have put together an irresistible package to lure the SM4LYF head to join his burgeoning Zylofon Music Label.
The deal has yet to be confirmed but all signs point towards it being complete and only the official announcement is pending.
And Nana Appiah Mensah himself seems to have confirmed the deal with a post on social media indicating Shatta would be receiving a new Rolls Royce from Zylofon once he signs up.
The wealthy entrepreneur posted a photo of a Rolls on his Instagram page, adding the caption: “The headlight of this RR looks like shatta wale’s eye, doesn’t it?? ???? ”
This all but confirms the deal, which would make Zylofon instantly the biggest label in Ghana with Stonebwoy, Shatta and Becca, among others.
For further confirmation, the two gentlemen were also spotted hanging out together on Saturday during the Emmanuel Tagoe bout in Bukom.
