Joyce Aryee Slams Down Pepper Dem Gang — Cooking For Your Husband Cannot Be Said To Be Slavery


Legendary, accomplished Ghanaian politician Joyce Aryee, the kind of woman the Pepper Dem Gang wish they could be, has come out completely to debunk their comments regarding women and whether they have to cook for their husbands or not.
It has been trending the past few days comments by the gang implying that a woman who returns from work and cooks for the husband is analogous to a slave.
The comment has sparked widespread condemnation for the group by a cross section of Ghanaians.
Aryee, the The Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries, said it’s wrong to say a woman cooking for the husband is a slave.

“I don’t think cooking for your husband can be seen as slavery, No I don’t think so…As a man, you can help your wife in the kitchen or just be around to chat with her.
“If your wife comes back from work and she is tired, and she must hurriedly prepare food and all that, at least the man must go into the kitchen and stand by her and help her out,” she said on Starr Fm.
