The Movie Industry Is So Bad Actresses Are Now All Transforming Into TV Show Hosts/ Instagram Models — Bernard Aduse-Poku

It’s sort of a cliche to say that the Ghanaian movie industry is dead, although it basically is and has been for a long time.
That phenomena has seen most actresses now running into the hands of television, whether it be Yvonne Nelson or Joselyn Dumas.
Others are now Instagram models aka professional slay queens.
Kumawood actor Bernard Aduse-Poku has noted this fact in a recent interview.

“I don’t know the state in which the Ghanaian movie industry is in now, it’s nothing good to write home about, I mean its in a state where you could use a word such as unfortunate to qualify it. It’s in a very unfortunate situation right now and hence the reason most of these big stars are turning themselves into TV show hosts, radio show hosts, Instagram models, social media models and what have you, you know, the industry is almost grinding to a halt, because if nothing is done in the next two to three years, there will be no Ghanaian movie in Ghana.” he said.
According to him, many of these problems stem back to the inability of movie makers to adapt to a new age where CDs have gone out of fashion and now everything is online.
