‘Angela‘ hitmaker, Kuami Eugene was recently chastised by his fans on social media for wearing ‘faded black shirt‘ to the late female dancehall artiste Ebony’s one-week observation.
His fans were expecting to see him in an expensive designer wear since he joined the music industry and has succeeded in bringing the hearts of the majority to his extraordinary songs. His fans needed to see something much better but not that ‘faded black’ shirt.
Speaking on ‘Breakfastlive’ show with Nikki Samonas on Tv Africa, Eugene gave a reply to those who chastised him from all angles in reference to his faded and colourless outfit to the late dancehall artiste’s one-week memorial service.
He said “Okay so we have shades of black. We have deep black, we have blue-black, we have faded black, we have tattered black and as I said earlier, the fact that anything I do people take time to assess it actually means that anything you do people want to talk about it,” he stressed.
Kuami Eugene said that those who started talking about his outfit didn’t think deep before complaining.
He concluded that he’s now famous and can afford to buy anything to fill his wardrobe, therefore, he intentionally decided to bring what the people called as ‘faded black shirt’ to the event.
