I Got Heavy Offers To Produce Secular Music — Joe Mettle

Ghanaian gospel Joe Mettle has disclosed that he was tempted at some point in time to produce secular music with the aim of making his fans and followers happy.
Joe Mettle who is a staunch Christian added that he sometimes gets “carried away like everyone else”.

Joe Mettle in an interview with co-host Berla Mundi on Starr FM’s Starr Drive said:
“You are human, there are times you may miss your way once or twice, and I have. Where I realize that I’m missing my track and then I had to come back. There are times you get carried away like everybody else. And those are the times you get heavy offers. But those are things you cannot decide on without praying about them,”

Joseph Oscar Mettle disclosed that his current song ‘Bo Noo Ni’ which is been played on radios and in churches was written before he even won the topmost accolade (Artiste of The Year) at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Joe Mettle happens to be the first gospel musician to be crowned Artiste of the Year after being awarded to secular musicians over the years.
