The funeral of the late Ebony Reigns which was scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2018, is likely to be changed according to Ebony’s father, Nana Poku Kwarteng.
Ebony Reigns’ final funeral rite was reported to be held at the Independence square due to the many Ghanaians expected to grace the funeral but Nana Poku Kwarteng in an interview with Kwasi Aboagye on Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review’ show disclosed that it has been difficult to secure the place for his daughter’s funeral.
Nana Poku Kwarteng said:
“The venue is the challenge, we earlier had the indication that we could hold it at the independence square but as it stands now it has been booked by Aglow international…the forecourt of the state House has also been booked by the Canadian High Commission on that very day.”
Nana Poku Kwarteng however, indicated that the family will have a meeting with the Chief of Staff to see how best they can address the challenge.
Ebony Reigns died in a gory car accident when the car she was travelling in collided head-on with a VIP bus on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
