The story of Owusu Bempah’s wife drinking some locally distilled wine aka ‘akpeteshie’ has opened up space for Afia Schwarzenegger to hit out at one of her favourite targets.
Taking to social media to mock Owusu Bempah and the wife, Afia described both as ‘drunkards’, subtly pointing towards that with the quote ‘birds of the same feathers flock together’.
A video went viral earlier this week showing Bempah’s wife taking in a drink before her wedding ceremony. As one lady pours her the drink she asks for more to be added, at which point everyone shouted ‘eii Osofo Maame’.
That prompted speculations that the drink was alcoholic, although Owusu Bempah has denied.

Afia didn’t mind, hitting out at him and the wife on Instagram.
“Revival Revival Revival…Kasapreko Alomo silver Holy ghost party will be held on good Friday at the premises of nation prophet doom’s church” she wrote.
“Guest speaker is Osofomaame Mother aka fa kakra ka ho,aka Mama Akpeteshie Do well to attend and your life will not be the same. Please bring your own bottle of Akpeteshie for the communion service.
“Remember Birds of the same feathers flock together” she added.
