Ghanaian rapper Emmanuel Botchwey, known by his stage name as Kwaw Kese a.k.a. Abodam has expressed his sadness over the death of his manager Fennec Okyere.
Before he was murdered there was an entertainment review on Peace Fm which resulted in a word for word confusion between Bulldog and the late Fennec Okyere and Bulldog who could not control his temper was said to have threatened to kill Fennec.
Fennec was murdered in his apartment by an unknown person or group of persons on the 13th March 2014, a few weeks later manager Bulldog born Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson was charged and arrested by the Ghana Police Service.
According to the then Director General Of CID, Mr Prosper Agblor, there was a series of threatening phone calls and text messages to kill Fennec Okyere.
January 18th, 2018, Bulldog who was charged as the main suspect for murdering Fennec Okyere was discharged by Accra Central District Court based on what was noted by Mr Worlanyo Kotoku who presided over the court “Prosecution not here; complainant not here, at the last hearing date, prosecution has been conspicuously absent. I have no option than to discharge you.”
