Question is what’s the definition of a bad girl? In the eyes of Ghanaians Ebony met all the necessary criteria to be a ‘bad girl’ in terms of public dressing because we are simply interested in appearances and not what lies beneath.
However, according to Mr Opoku Kwarteng, Ebony’s father, his daughter was never a bad girl as portrayed but that she was a gentle soul who received a proper upbringing.
Counsellor George Lutterodt had claimed about Ebony that she was a disgrace to society because she came from a broken home (her parents were divorced) and thus was not properly trained but her father debunked that toxic notion in an interview with Kofi TV.
“Ebony was trained and tamed so she couldn’t have been a bad girl, she got good parental care.” Mr Opoku Kwarteng said.
“No wonder she excelled in her career as a musician,” he added.
The young dancehall songstress died in February in a gory car accident and was buried just over a week ago.
