'Bronya' Deserves Highlife Song Of Year Award — Wutah

Saturday, April 14, 2018, is the day when Ghanaian musicians who performed marvellously under the year review will be awarded for their hard work and toil.
Now, the musical duo, Wutah who made headlines with their ‘Bronya’ track during the festive season says the song ‘Bronya’ deserves the Highlife song of the Year award at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Wutah in an interview with George Quaye on Starr FM’s ‘Morning Zoo’ stated without mincing words that their song which went viral stands tall among all the songs in that particular category and therefore deserves the accolade.

Wutah Kobby was of the view that ‘Bronya’ is a typical Highlife song depicting the Ghanaian definition of the Highlife genre which is fading away gradually.

They have been nominated in four categories at the 2018 VGMA which will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
