blank
Three Ghanaian teenagers have accomplished quite the feat in being able to all gain admission to three of the most prestigious universities in the world, all located in the United States.
Katia Maame Dufie Osei and Afia Sarpong Frimpong (graduates of Wesley Girls’ High School) and Isabelle Quaye (graduate of Ghana International School), have gained admission to Harvard, Yale and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) respectively.
All three are on full scholarships as well.
They managed to achieve their feat with near perfect school records, SAT scores and numerous other marks of excellence, yet very little of them has been heard in the media whilst Queen Moesha dominates the airwaves.
Recently, another Ghanaian, a former Opoku Ware student also gained admission into eight U.S universities yet he also received very little media attention.
