Shatta Wale Drops Hits Everywhere You Go, I Thought He'd Win Artist Of The Year- Knii Lante

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is way over but there is still debris that needs shaking and a little too many voices to fume their stance on all that went down on the day of the awards.
The VGMA’s comes with its own tales of shocks and disappointment and some of us are still on the path of reviving. The lady dancehall queen, Ebony won the enviable slot of the night being the artist of the year (setting the record of the first female to win that award).

“With no disrespect to Ebony, she has been big the whole year, probably got the biggest things trending and hits around, but since these awards are popular awards.
“I’m sure the numbers went in favour of Ebony, and this is a popular award scheme so there is no problem with that, but I thought Shatta Wale would have taken it.
“He drops hits and everywhere you go, street side, I mean I saw school children singing his songs and things like that”, he said.”
