Even though, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) looked down totally on Patapaa who increased the level of Ghanaian music to a higher level after releasing his popular song “One corner” by ‘gifting’ the ‘Most Popular Song’ of the year award to Fancy Gaddam in the just ended VGMA.
According to Huawei Ghana, they think Patapaa’s “One Corner” song had no challenger under the year review and for that matter, deserves an award.
On Twitter, Ghanacelebrities.com sited a post by Huawei Ghana which reads; At Huawei, we think Patapaa’s one corner is the most popular song in 2017, so we honoured him with our newly launched #huaweiy7prime2018 at the @mmclivegh yesterday.
