Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has made some revelations about his sexual life, which will come as a surprise to most people who think he is a “bad boy” as he is portrayed in movies. According to the actor, he was planning to keep his virginity till he got married but his friends assumed he was a homosexual because he refused to have any intimate relations with his then-girlfriend of four years, now his wife.  They met when he was a student at the University of Ghana in 2003 and dated without sex till 2007 when his friends got worried and started wondering if everything was okay with him because he refused to break his virginity even though he had been a relationship for so long a time.
Four years after breaking his virginity, he got married to the same woman he lost it to. It is not confirmed whether his now-wife was also a virgin at the time he was getting “de-flowered” but it obviously doesn’t matter because he describes her as the love of his life and they are now happily married with kids. Speaking to Abeiku Santana on UTV, he revealed, “The first time I had sex was in 2007. I was a virgin by then and I did that with my wife, who was then my girlfriend…It was a covenant I had with God. I broke this covenant out of pure pressure because my friends didn’t understand why I should be dating a girl for four years without doing anything to her. They even thought I was gay, so I have to do that to prove them wrong.”
He proudly exposed himself as a faithful man who has never had sex with anyone apart from the woman he lost his virginity to and denied ever having any affair with anyone in the movie industry. “When I met my wife in 2003 at University of Ghana, I didn’t know that I will become an actor and it is the person I have been with. I have not dated anyone in the movie industry”, he declared. He has three kids with his wife of seven years and according to him, they are still very much in love with each other.
