So Wisa Greid, after indecently exposing himself on stage and subjecting innocent eyes to the view of his Kubolor-sized peepee expects to be given a round of applause and a pat on the back. This is Ghana, and it doesn’t matter whether you’re the President or Kwame Nkrumah’s great-grandchild, if your matter comes, we will all come together to chop it for you very well. But this guy instead of apologising to Ghanaians and showing remorse for such an indecent display is going around feeling like people are criticizing him too harshly for his folly.
Maybe his record label Black Avenue Music (BAM) doesn’t see anything wrong with his actions and probably congratulated him for “trending”, but not everyone is on board with such nonsense and will kiss his ass knowing very well he goofed big time. Speaking on the Aben Wo Ha show with Gatusso on Kasapa FM an Accra-based radio station after an Accra circuit court fined him GHS8400 or a two-year jail term if he was unable to pay the fine, the “Ekiki Mi” hitmaker said some big names in the Ghanaian music industry went on social media to condemn his stunt and just a few respected ones personally approached him and motivated him.
He said he was very disappointed in the likes of Okyeame Kwame aka the “Rap Doctor” who didn’t take it easy on him at all and put him on full blast all over social media. Even though he claims he doesn’t remember the exact words the Rap Doctor used in criticizing him, he does remember that they were quite unpleasant and not expected from someone of his calibre. “I have lost memory of his exact words but I clearly remember he was among the people who criticized me when I landed in trouble ” Wisa said.
Maybe instead of seeing everything wrong with getting criticized for doing something wrong, Wisa should reflect on what he has done and be honest about whether he deserves such criticisms or he’s just being a little biatch.
