GFA Officials Aren't Fleeing The Country Because Of Anas, They Are Merely Going On Business Trips – Nyantakyi

There is fire on the mountain, and those who adorned themselves with cloaks of straw are running helter-skelter in hopes of avoiding the flames. Ever since it was revealed that the upcoming Anas Arimiyao Anas expose was going to target high ranking members of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), officials all of a sudden have businesses to run outside the country and are trooping out in droves. Ace investigative journalist Anas Arimiyao Anas is set to release an explosive documentary dubbed “Number 12” which is set to be premiered at the Accra International Conference Center on 6th June 2018.
The investigative film, described by Anas as his most challenging work yet is set to bring the activities of nation wreckers and corrupt officials in enviable positions especially in the GFA to light. Earlier on Anas advised security agencies to be extra vigilant because top officials are likely to attempt to flee the country in hopes of escaping the shame and disgrace “Number 12” is going to bring to them. And true to his words, suddenly GFA big men have business to run outside the country and are fleeing in their numbers.
According to sources, the GFA office is almost empty with officials from the secretary to senior staff choosing to absent themselves with the excuse of having other business to run elsewhere. Tensions are so high that it is said that some of them have developed diarrhoea and are consulting with their pastors and spiritual fathers for protection. “They are not sure what is coming but some are developing diarrhoea… Those with UK, US connections are gone”, the source revealed.
However, he was quick to add that it was probably pure coincidence that these business trips are necessary at the time when Anas has threatened to wash their dirty laundry in the full glare of the public. “I am very sure I am not in the video but the way my bosses are all running from the office I have a feeling I must also leave before anything happens…Since the billboards came nobody is coming to the office”, said the source to MyNewsGh.com.
Meanwhile, President of the GFA Kwasi Nyantakyi has rubbished these claims and says none of the GFA officials has fled and that if any of them happens to be out of the country, it is simply because they have personal business to attend to. “The only two people I know are out of Ghana at the moment is my good self and General Secretary Isaac Addo. Both of us are on official CAF duty. We are both returning latest by Thursday. Running football is not a full-time job for the GFA Executive Committee so if someone travels to do his private business how does that amount to running away? For someone to suggest that we are running away is pure mischief,” the GFA boss said to Rosalind Amoh of Graphic Sports.
