Boxer Bukom Banku has gone into hiding after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest by an Accra Circuit.
Banku was initially in court and was granted bail but then absconded and despite a bench warrant for his arrest, the police have been unable to locate him.
At the last court date when he wasn’t around, the trial judge issued a warrant for the police to arrest him, but Banku remains at large.

He’s facing charges of charges of assault, causing unlawful damage and causing harm and with his current decision to go into hiding, could face more charges if and when he’s eventually found.
