2018 BET Award Nominees — Best International Act Category Has Zero Ghanaian Acts This Year

1 min

The nominees list for the 2018 BET Awards has been released (full list here) and for the first time since the inception of the International Act award, no Ghanaian star would be representing.
Serial nominees Stonebwoy and Sarkodie both missed out this time, as did Shatta who has always struggled to attract attention from BET.
Already questions are being raised over how it happened that no Ghanaian star managed to make it when Davido and Tiwa Savage all picked up nominations.
In a slight change, the BET has merged the Best International Act categories instead of dividing it up into U.K, Africa etc.

This would definitely make it harder for African stars to win BET awards.
