Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji revealed over the weekend that even though she’s yet to walk down the aisle, she has already received one bun in the oven.
People have always wondered when Ikeji would get married especially as she grew older, and she has always brushed off those questions.
Although currently engaged, Ikeji has for most of her career preached celibacy to young girls until marriage, and she herself has claimed that she’s living a celibate life.
However, now that her pregnancy has hit, the blogger, 36, has explained that she basically felt she was becoming too old and therefore she wanted a baby more than anything and God listened to her prayers.
So despite all the ‘preaching’ she couldn’t practice it herself, and when it happens for her it’s a ‘blessing’ from God.

“….I preached celibacy to young girls because I feel that’s the right way to live until you meet someone very special that you love & who loves you and wants to be in a committed relationship with you. Passing body around and having multiple partners is not the way and I stand by it.
“And I’ve lived by it. But then I turned 36 and I knew there was nothing else I wanted more than to be a mum & wife and celibacy wasn’t going to get me that! I even did a video talking about how much I wanted these two things and God has finally answered my prayers. Beyond blessed.”
