Ghana’s Deputy Roads Minister, Anthony Karbo has been picked by the Criminal Investigative Department to assist in the on-going investigations into corruption allegations levelled against Ghana Football Association (GFA) boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The reason for him being picked by the CID is as a result of him appearing in Anas Aremeyaw’s investigative documentary which also captures the GFA boss, Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi is allegedly captured in a video bragging to investors that the president of the Republic and his Vice are in his pocket.
He is also allegedly captured demanding $5m to link some investors to the President and his Vice as well as to settle other officials at the presidency.
Anthony Karbo is currently at the CID headquarters because Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi mentioned him to be one of those officials who can create easy access to the presidency.
