President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has punctuated the media fog of the Anas exposé by announcing the dismissal of as many as six appointees heading numerous state owned institutions.
It’s not clear what motivated the sackings or why they are all being announced today but heads of numerous institutions from the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport (BOST) company to the head of the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority (GPHA) have all been relieved.
The victims include: Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) CEO, Gifty Klenam, the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) CEO, Paul Asare Ansah and the Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport (BOST) Company, Alfred Obeng Boateng.
Aside the GEPA boss, her two deputies have also been sacked.
According to reports, the President would carry out more of such sackings in coming months.
