Forbes Magazine has released its annual list of the highest earning athletes in the world.
The calculations by the world renowned financial magazine puts Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, the undefeated boxing legend, at no.1, regaining his title from last year.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi finished second on the list, just ahead of his eternal nemesis Cristiano Ronaldo.
Forbes have been releasing their annual lists of the top earners in numerous industries; on Tuesday we reported Sarkodie had made it into the ‘Under 30’ list for Forbes Africa.
