Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan made headlines last weekend following the well patronized opening of his new sports bar – BJ’s Sports Bar.
Whilst many of those who were in attendance were noteworthy — including fellow Stars player Agyemang Badu, Ibrah One and Bola Ray — it was more noteworthy who was NOT in attendance.
Gifty Gyan, long time wife of the Stars forward, did not make an appearance at the grand unveiling.
Since then many reasons have emerged as to why she did not attend and none of them look very good for Gyan.
According to some rumours we’ve picked up, the establishment is to be managed by one lady known as Nina Atala, who was at the opening and was very close to Gyan throughout.
Considering Gyan’s history with Sarah Kwabla and how he’s been spotted at other functions with Nina whilst his wife is not in attendance, the prevailing theory is that Gyan might have some sort of other relationship with Nina.
In true African style, some have even speculated that Nina has worked some dark magic on Gyan which is making him neglect his family in favour of his new boo.
Over the years Gyan’s wife has maintained a low profile whilst he’s gone through scandal after scandal and it seems like she might have to endure another one with this Nina Atala situation.
