At Least Amissah Arthur Has Escaped All the Undeserving Political Mockery and Besmirching…

Amissah Arthur

Life is short, I always say—and once again Amissah Arthur’s death is serving as a reminder for those who are clever to note it.
People come into this world and instead of living each day with fulfillment, they become engulfed in problems and mostly what will happen after life.
All you have is this life, live it on your own terms. Take risk, experience the bigger world and freely do the things that you really want to do.
If you are in a job that does not make you happy, quit. If your relationship sucks, walk away from it. If your business is draining you, close it down. Because from Bank of Ghana Governor to Vice President and then to a perpetual Grave Yard resident is what Dr Arthur has become.
Everything we are chasing in life is useless. What’s useful is the memories and experiences you will take with you to the grave—so invest in that, focus on those and chase them with every minute of your breath.
Death is final and inevitable. There’s nothing beyond that, as there was nothing before conception.
I have two quotes for you, they drive my life and I hope they do or help shape yours too.
“Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all”—Helen Keller
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour”-Mark Twain
RIP Amissah Arthur—at least you’ve escaped all the undeserving political mockery and besmirching from Ghanaians who are completely hopeless.
