Huge Shock In 2018 NSMQ As West African Senior High Bundle Defending Champs Prempeh College Out Of The Competition

The finals line-up for the 2018 National Science and Maths Quiz have been completed and one huge shock has been registered as defending champions Prempeh College have been kicked out of the tourney.
Prempeh, who beat St Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College to the title last year, were denied the opportunity to defend their crown by a red hot West African Senior High School (WASS).
WASS picked up an impressive 52pts to 45pts win over Prempeh, with the third side in the contest Krobo Girls gathering a meagre 29pts.
Earlier in the day Adisadel College had qualified for their fourth successive final after a hard fought win over Mfantsipim, with St Peter’s winning the second semis to comple the finals line-up.
Whilst Adisadel would be favourites for the final, WASS’ impressive win over Prempeh marks them out as the team to watch.
