The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has appointed four new justices to the Supreme Court of Ghana, a statement from the Presidency has revealed.
Pursuant to his powers as laid down in Article 144 (2), the President has named his choices, in consultation with the Council of State.
The names chosen to replace retiring Justices are Justice Samuel K. Marful- Sau, Justice Agnes M.A. Dordzie, Prof Nii Ashie Kotey and Nene A. O. Amegatcher.
The President has thus written to Parliament to inform them of his choice and request swift approval for the chosen judges.
