Fighting corruption in Ghana is a very tiring job.
The rich and powerful are mostly corrupt and any attempt by someone like Anas to burst their bubble would be fought off with all the immense resources they command.
Recently, GFA’s former Communications Director Ibrahim Saanie Daara filed suit against Anas for ‘Number 12′, alleging defamation and seeking Ghc 20m in damages.
According to Anas’ lawyer, William Kissi Agyebeng, Anas has been sued a whopping 25 times since the release of the documentary.
According to Agyebeng, they expected such a backlash and thus are ready to face each and every one in court.

“If you do corruption exposé on such a scale, you don’t expect people to just sit and watch. People will hit back at you…We are expecting these things,” he said.
