Dancehall star Stonebwoy has landed a pretty massive new deal with the world renowned Universal Music Group.
Stonebwoy has landed a deal for the marketing, promotion and distribution of his music with the UMG company, which along with Sony Music and Warner Music Group are considered the ‘big three’ when it comes to record labels.
UMG has opened a new branch in Lagos and during its unveiling, announced the mega deal with the Ghanaian star, born Livingstone Etse Satekla.
Stonebwoy is one of the artists in Gh with the most global reach, particularly in the Caribbean where he has landed numerous huge features with the likes of Sean Paul, Mavado and Morgan Heritage.
That tallies with Universal’s expectations — the company has deals with some of the biggest artists on the planet including Drake, Lady Gaga, Rihanna etc.

The artist is currently on the ‘Epistles of Mama’ tour in Europe — where he has been making news for very interesting reasons.
