King of Volta rap music, Ayigbe Edem has said the reasons why musicians sing about s£x is because it is a reflection of the society.
The rapper speaking in an interview on Joy FM’s ‘Gee Spot’ said, “I don’t know why people still think that artistes are profane. It is something people have to get rid of because musicians are just creative persons who sing about the happenings in society.

“Every time all you represent is the effect of your immediate environment. When artistes are singing about peace you automatically know it is an election year.

“So when people sing about sex it means that is the true state of the country when people sing about religion it means that is the state of the society,” he said.
