Ghanaian sports journalist and host of Adom TV’s popular sports show “Fire For Fire”, Patrick Osei Agyemang popularly known as Countryman Songo has disclosed what motivated him to start his fight against corruption in the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Songo speaking in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM’s Daybreak Show, he disclosed that God told him there was corruption in the Ghana Football Association which needed to be rooted out.
He continued to describe the Ghana Football Association as selfish and all that they wanted was to fill their selfish needs without thinking about the well being of the nation.
“God told me there were rots in the Ghana Football Association.”
“The Ghana Football Association did not think about Ghana. They were only thinking about their exgratia and other things. When was the last time Black Stars won AFCON? I kept saying our system was rotten.”
The sports presenter continued that the rate at which corruption was rising in the Ghana Football Association was becoming unbearable.
