Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Ohene ‘Akumpreko’ Agyapong, has apologized to the privileges committee of Parliament for calling the august house a ‘useless’ body.
Despite his constant bravado, Agyapong came down to earth before Parliament and apologized.
The privileges committee of Parliament, which has the power to declare someone in contempt, is the same body which humbled Blakk Rasta a few years ago.
As Yaa Pono and Stonebwoy said — everybody has their master — even Kennedy Agyapong.
The problem with the committee is that since apologizing is enough to let you go scot free, anyone can insult parliament and get away with a simple apology — from what we’ve seen so far.
