A fatal accident happened in Ashaiman market this morning which has left Ghanaian shook over the manner of how it went down.
A cement carrying truck reportedly lost its brakes and couldn’t stop, ramming into the market women by the roadside as well as the mass of people usually crowding the roads of the vicinity of the Ashaiman market.
The truck mowed down the market women and pedestrians, leaving some dead and many others with varying degrees of injury.
A video taken of the disheartening scene has hit social media showing the aftermath of the accident — people lying down with gory injuries, lost limbs and some dead with their bodies crushed.
It’s a truly horrifying scene. The attached video should be watched with discretion.
