Captain Planet

Over the years rapper Captain Planet has grown from strength to strength in his craft and he seems to get better with every subsequent project instead of the opposite as some might expect.
One thing very commendable about him is his ability to tell stories in his songs which are then captured almost perfectly in the accompanying video.
Just over the last few months his singles ‘Obi Agyi Obi Girl’ and ‘Akpeteshie’ have been reigning everywhere and the latest from the 4X4 star is ‘Money’, his single which features none other than Trigmatic.
The official music video for ‘Money’ has been released and we’re not shocked to see it’s yet another masterpiece from Captain and the legendary Gyo Gyimah of Phamous Philms fame.
‘Money’ is a simple track talking about simple things – we are all striving for it and we do our best to get enough to make life enjoyable.
Watching ‘Money’ one can really identify, knowing that the constant hustle we all go through is to get some of the cash and raise our standard of living.

Captain Planet makes it clear though that he’s going for the super wealthy goal, the Kwame Despite kind of ‘money’ and nothing else.
Guess we can all identify with that too.
‘Money’ was released via YouTube July 31st and features Trigmatic. Video directed by Phamous Philms.
Enjoy…
