The police officer at the centre of the Midland Savings and Loans assault case has been granted bail by the Accra Circuit Court hearing the case.
Lance Corporal Frederick Amanor has been granted bail in the sum of Ghc 60,000 with two sureties to be justified.
The police officer is standing trial for assaulting Patience Osafo, the lady who was at the bank for a withdrawal but instead got the beating of her life from Amanor.
At the most recent court date, his lawyers applied for bail which was granted.
Amanor is standing trial alongside three other employees of the bank.
