Juventus winger Cristiano Ronaldo has comfortably won the UEFA.Com goal of the season award for his bicycle kick goal which he scored for then team Real Madrid against his current employers in the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals.
Ronaldo majestically rose high in the first leg last 8 clash in April, sending the acrobatic effort into the Juve net to give Madrid a comfortable 3-0 lead.
He would subsequently lead them to the trophy before joining Juventus in the summer.
A vote held on uefa’s website to determine the best goal of the 2017/18 season ended with Ronaldo easily winning, garnering almost 200,000 of the total 346,915 votes.
Ronaldo is a five time world player of the year winner and left Madrid after leading them to their third consecutive Champions League trophy.
