Women protested in some of the largest cities worldwide for the right to go topless in public — and they did so by going topless in public!
In protests in New York, Los Angeles, Freiburg, Seoul, Denver and many other cities, countless women turned up topless to protest for the right to do so in public.
The protesters were simply calling for equal rights, arguing that if men are able to go topless in public without getting arrested then women should as well.
Whilst most went topless, many of the protesters covered their nipples – either with tape or body paint — to comply with the law in their respective countries.
MailOnline reports on the marches and reveal some of the women had placards with messages such as ‘it’s boobs, not bombs!’ and ‘war is indecent, not my breasts.’
Some men joined the women in solidarity during the march, whilst in some cities Christian counter protesters came out to tell everyone how they are going to hell for being immoral — simply dampening proceedings with their usual judgmental nature.
Check out very interesting photos of the march on MailOnline.
