Sarkodie has had to fight off a tag of arrogance for most of his career and you cannot say it’s unwarranted, as many people both inside and outside the industry have made that accusation.

Recently, the arrogance of the rapper was in full display in the sight of GhanaCelebrities.Com founding editor Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri, who wrote a viral article on it — ‘King Sarkodie, Perhaps a truly arrogant, illiterate, fame driven douchebag.’

Since then Sarkodie has had to answer to the tag almost everywhere he goes and in a recent interview with Hitz Fm he said what people mistake for arrogance is actually confidence.

Sark added that the reason he’s often aloof from fans is that he’s sometimes not in the mood to be friendly when he goes out.

He said if people are offended by his demeanour then he apologizes for it.
