It looks there has never been a worse time in the Stonebwoy-Shatta Wale relationship but once again, the two looks like they might settle their differences — even if temporarily — over some cool ‘Mahama paper’.
Last year after Shatta Wale was signed to Zylofon Music, Stonebwoy threw a massive temper tantrum and came very close to leaving the label, but in the end the money he was making from the label trumped everything else and he had a truce with Wale.
Last week, Stonebwoy went ballistic on Wale once again, swearing fire and brimstone that he can never have peace with Wale after the latter accused him of killing his mum for fame.
However, based on some online reports, that whole anger thing might already be a thing of the past.
Stonebwoy’s manager, Blakk Cedi, has held a meeting with Shatta Wale in the presence of promoter Papa Loggy.
The meeting is to settle issues between the two after Stonebwoy’s recent outburst.
Some other whispers also claim the meeting is for Wale to present a $20,000 offer to Stonebwoy for him to appear at his upcoming ‘The Reign’ album launch.
Wale has been working to get the biggest artists around to appear at his album launch and with recent news of Sarkodie being ready to ditch the show, it might be prudent to get his biggest rival onboard.
The question now remains if the ‘Tomorrow’ hitmaker is going to put his convictions aside to make some quick ‘coins’ from Wale.
‘The Reign’ album launch comes off October 13th at the Trade Fair Centre’s Fantasy Dome.
