Of all the bona fide big stars in the country, none had a tougher road to stardom than Shatta Wale, who somehow became a hit, then a non entity, then had to suffer underground for a decade before blowing up once again.
As we all remember, Wale blew up for the second time a few years ago when he took on Charterhouse with disgusting and demeaning songs after he perceived he was snubbed for the VGMAs.
Since then he has been manufacturing controversy after controversy as that’s the only way he can stay relevant.
However, in Shatta Wale’s deluded mind, controversy is not the reason he’s popular.
According to him, people like him because he shares the word of God with them.
“People are saying like I’m popular because of controversy that not true. Anytime I talk on radio people crave to listen to me not because I’m going to sing to them but the word of God I share with them.
“It is the kind of motivation I give, the kind of hope I give them. I let people know I have suffered before hence giving them the hope of making it in life. This is what is making me stand well. I don’t believe in controversy.” the ‘king of controversy’ added.
It’s a good thing most of the SM movement are just like their leader otherwise they would realize the BS he’s feeding them.
