After suing the SEC for interfering in it’s actions, the gold trading firm Menzgold Ghana has kept it promise to commence paying dividends to customers from today, the 28th of September.
At a presser held in Accra Thursday, the company said they would resume payments today, based on a schedule to be sent to customers.
The schedule would inform customers when to visit the branches to receive their dividends in order not to create overcrowding.
Menzgold, however, would be paying dividends to customers for the period before September 12th, the date the SEC put a halt on its gold trading activities.

The time period since then would not attract any interest since the company has not been able to trade.
In the meantime, Menzgold would continue the legal battle against the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bank of Ghana, to keep them off their backs and permanently back in business.
