The Chief Priest of Otumfour, Baffour Sumankwahene Asare Ababio after traders at the Kumasi Racecourse market complained of low patronage since they relocated there has performed rituals to boost high patronage of goods sold by traders in the new market.

The question is would this solve the problem of low patronage in the market looking at how hard things have become in the country? How do people patronise when they have less money to spend?

Well, maybe the gods know better than we mortals.

The Chief Priest after traders at the Racecourse market complained of low patronage and also seeing of strange things of which they believe is being caused by the god of the Subin River together with leaders of the market stormed the market and performed rituals to appease and beg for forgiveness from the god.

Baffour Sumankwahene Asare Ababio after performing the rituals with 3 hen, 2 sheep, eggs, schnapps and yam assured traders that the Subin River god has accepted their apology ─meaning business at the racecourse market will boom from Monday, October 1, 2018.

Baffour Sumankwahene Asare Ababio in an interview with Osei Kwadwo on Abusua FM said;

“Now everything is under control. River Subin has accepted the apology of the traders. Things are going to change from tomorrow. But I am warning the traders to keep the market clean because River Subin can’t stay in dirty place.

The traders should stop using the River Subin as a dumping site. Some of them even throw their menstrual pad into the River. River Subin will be angry if this attitude continues”.

The queen-mother and Manager for the Racecourse market thanked Otumfour’s Chief Priest for coming to their aid.
